In the summer of 2025, five high-quality international summer schools at Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) concluded successfully, covering cutting-edge fields including high-end equipment & intelligent manufacturing, artificial intelligence, architectural design, big data & business analytics, and smart electrical engineering. The summer schools are highly recognized by teachers and students worldwide, the events stand out for strong internationalization, wide influence, and remarkable educational effects.
The summer schools gather global academic resources with distinctive international features. Distinguished scholars and academicians from more than 20 countries (Canada, Russia, Spain, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, etc.) are invited to deliver lectures. HIT also cooperate with overseas universities such as Skoltech (Russia) and Sungkyunkwan University (South Korea) to build platforms jointly. The events attract international students from Russia, Pakistan, Nigeria, Yemen and other countries, with over 500 participants online and offline.
Covering a wide range of disciplines and warmly welcomed, the summer schools integrate frontier teaching, on-site research, group projects and enterprise practice.
